Wind Damage on the Esplanade

...and it huffed and it puffed and it blewwwwww the tree down! Our sweet little pine tree at the end of the Esplanade couldn’t hold up to the recent wind storm. Hope all your landscape is intact. The tree removal was orchestrated by your friendly, neighborhood HOA.

Welcome To the Neighborhood

Lew Thayer and Mary Kate Thayer are new residents of 1001 Sunset Way, along with their daughter Kathryn. Lew is from the Bellevue area while Mary Kate was primarily raised in Indiana until moving to Seattle prior to high school. Lew works for a family office investment management company in Seattle. Mary Kate is an orthopedic hand surgeon on the Eastside. They are both excited to now call the Vuecrest Community home. They also wanted Vuecrest to know that if they have dogs and are walking by 1001 Sunset Way to be on the lookout for a toddler girl who loves dogs and will surely run up to give your dog a hug!

Summer Ice Cream Headed Your Way

Once again your HOA Social Committee is planning to treat the neighborhood to summer Ice Cream treats. Drop the diet, listen for the ice cream truck, and be a kid again! Upcoming dates will be announced.

Upcoming Bellevue Activities

A few “don’t miss” summer Bellevue activities are up and running again! Make sure to take advantage of these fun opportunities in your own backyard.

Bellevue Jazz & Blues Music Series June 1st – 5th.

Bellevue Family July 4th Fireworks and Fun in the Park July 4th.

Bellevue Arts Fair July 30th - July 31st.

In addition, there are lots of local artist music concerts during the week throughout the city. Tuesdays and Thursdays 12-1P, and Wednesday 11:30-1:30P. Be prepared to have fun!

Community Interest-Vuecrest LIFE

What is your favorite Vuecrest moment...a sunset, a city view, taking a walk in the neighborhood, your move-in day? We’d love to hear about it. Send us an email at newsletter@vuecrest.net mailto:newsletter@vuecrest.net.

Please send your community interest information to Rebecca at newsletter@vuecrest.net mailto:newsletter@vuecrest.net. Email us your graduation pictures and/or pets/people dressed for the 4th of July for our next issue! In the meantime, I’ll share with you what a 140 pound Bull Mastiff looks like when he thinks he’s a lap dog. “Frank” is our oldest daughter’s dog and was our first grand dog. Yes, Bull Mastiff’s are slobbery, huge, clumsy, and completely loveable. He’s often a part of our Vuecrest life.
