neighborhood list

Hi All

I have reviewed our current list of neighborhood recommendations and decided I need to ask your help to revise the list.  Many of the sitters in the neighborhood are either no longer living in our neighborhood or are out of babysitting/pet sitting age and others are now old enough to want those jobs.  Additionally, some of the recommendations are dated.  So with that in mind, I am asking that you please email me with your wishes to be included in these categories:

Neighborhood businesses

  1. At home businesses (products, services)--things like ThirtyOne, Avon, Pampered Chef, or tutors
  2. Businesses owned by those living in our neighborhood (we like to support our neighbors!)  These would include those of you who work both at home and/or at businesses you own outside of LR.  Realtors, contractors, attorneys, other professionals as well as retail business owners
  3. Teens/young adults who are available to babysit or pet sit or house sit (include ages and other pertinent info).
    Also would include lawn care, powerwashing, lifeguards for home pool parties

Vendors who come into our neighborhood to provide services

  1. Yard care (please include what they do)
  2. Painting--interior, exterior
  3. Deck construction and maintenance
  4. Back flow inspection
  5. Sprinkler system repair
  6. Air and Heat maintenance/repair
  7. Home security
    8.Home repair--plumbing, electrical, etc
  8. Window washing
  9. Pest Control
  10. Handyman
  11. Roofing
  12. Carpet care
  13. Appliance repair
  14. Other

I realize that the previous list had some businesses outside of our community who are not vendors or community owned, but that is really not the purpose of the list and it gets a bit cumbersome, so please stick to these categories.

I hope this will be helpful to all of you, no matter how long you have been here!

Business name and owner, phone numbers, addresses if pertinent, website if available

My daughter Haley is 20. She is a teacher at Summit Christian Academy and student at UTSA. She does house sitting and pet sitting. She has references from folks in our neighborhood. Her phone number 760-213-7433.
