This is a message from Capt Charlie Richter: Hi all, Just took a boat from Toms River, NJ to Haverstraw, NY. First, fromTR to Manasquan was fine, but in Mantaloking take Gunnerss Ditch, behind the island on the west side, well marked and clear. The icw on the east side of the island is very thin water. The flotsam was real bad in the Hudson north of the GW bridge, I assume from the flood tides in the canals. I would also assume it will be worse today (Wed) when they let the water go. Be careful.
