At last, we had a perfect racing day - no 25+ winds howling, no thunderstorms lurking, no classic doldrums boring - but a lovely (well, um, slightly shifty) 8 - 12 mph easterly. The one-designs were out in force, but just two cruising boats raced. What a waste of a good river! By the way, Encore is setting some kind of Club record for 100% series attendance so far this year. She has raced every Wednesday, every Sunday and in both regattas (29 possible races). That's awesome, guys. Congrats to John, Vin, Deb and their secret weapon, Chloe. See you on the water.
