• LOUIS XIV: AN EVENING CONCERT •
Jeffrey Cohan ~ renaissance flute
Courtney Kuroda ~ violin
Victoria Gunn ~ viola
Anna Marsh ~ baroque bassoon

On Thursday at St. Luke's Memorial Episcopal Church at 7:00 PM we're
excited to present a new set of 5 suites from an extensive and
completely unknown manuscript which Louis XIV's music librarian Andre
Danican Philidor l'aine prepared for evening concerts for the king
during the last two years of his life. Philidor's arrangements present
Louis' favorite music from the past four decades in an unusually
intimate instrumental setting. These suites, discovered in Paris by
Jeffrey Cohan, are not to be found online and have not been heard for
centuries.

Please note the flyer attached. We hope you'll join us on Thursday!
