Greetings All: My City is selling surplus personal and real property. Proper procedures followed in declaration of surplus. As to sale of real property, I find no legal prohibition to accepting cash, cashier's check, money order or personal check for the 10% payment due at the time of auction to the winning bidder. Anyone disagree? Anyone have a short form contract that I could have to modify for the sale of the surplus real property. Thanks. Have a great weekend.
