Kite assisted power

The reality is that no one (at least as far as I can find) is interested in making a kite for small cats (for example our 25 1/2 footer.  I would buy one and experient if available.  My local sailmaker (a neighbor and friend) is not interested.  The kite surfer shops don't seem to be interested.  The links given are for far larger vessels than what most of us have, plus the control systems get complex.

Has anyone found a simple, relitatively cheap, and practical kite system for smaller cats?

This would be supplimental, as well as "get home" power, rather than primary power.
