There are at least 6 American Avocets in the lagoons this morning. The lagoons are accessed off Cedar St which runs east of Yonge St in Holland Landing north of Toronto in York Region. Kevin Shackleton

Hi folks...
I have not seen any report for the Avocets at Holland Landing lagoons today.
I did observe ONE female American Avocet today in the first Lagoon. I did check all the four lagoons but no other Avocets were observed. Of course it was a rainy day.
Other birds present.. 2 GW Teals, 25 Buffleheads, Mallards, Song Sparrows, Eastern Phoebe, RC Kinglets, etc.
Best of luck..
Luc Fazio.  ( Yes I did take videos and pictures, perhaps later )
Directions from Kevin Shackleton

The lagoons are accessed off Cedar St which runs east of Yonge St in Holland Landing north of Toronto in York Region.
