There's a URL you can visit, after logging in, that will initiate the creation of a couple of sample Person authorities (and other sample authorities as well, for Organization, Concept, Storage Location and more), described here: http://wiki.collectionspace.org/display/DOC/Initializing+data If that doesn't resolve the problem, please feel free to post again here to the CollectionSpace Talk list, which is a great place to get peer support, counting among its members implementers, evaluators (like yourself) and members of the project team.
