FREE! B-WET (Watershed Education Training) June 27-30 for Educators! Foss Waterway Seaport has received funding to host a 4-day summer workshop June 27-30 for teachers who teach environmental learning - both formal educators in schools and non formal educators in non profit outreach and education roles. The workshop will focus on "hands-on" learning and curriculum integration on topics such as watersheds, storm water runoff, and restoration projects. SEA (Service, Education and Adventure) is partnering with Foss Waterway Seaport on this program modeled on the B-WET (Bay-Watershed Education Training) program offered by NOAA. While the workshop is based out of Tacoma, it is relevant to educators throughout Puget Sound.
