Tacoma, Sat, Sept 17, 4-5:30 p.m.
Visit a mini farm where intensive management pays off! From the street,
you would never guess there are 3 horses, 17 chickens, and a rabbit on
the property. Sand in the horse paddocks prevent mud, manure is stored
in cleverly constructed bins, a round pen is used for exercise, and
pastures are managed to provide as much grass as possible. Contact Rene'
at 253 845-9770 x 106 or renes@piercecountycd.org to register.
