If you have two drivers, you can leave your truck at Trenton  then rent a
car from your destination to go back and retrieve it.  I  recommend you make
Midland your destination - there are more facilities  that Port Severn.

You may also wish to consider going a bit further if time permits to Parry Sound where there are good marinas, launch ramps and train service to Southern cities in Ontario (not sure about direct to Trenton, but at least to Toronto).  Honey Harbor is another nearby Port to Port Severn.
