Hi Barry,

  • In the THCI paper, you’ll find the reported distribution of users by age in terms of Twitter use (Active vs. Inactive users) (see Table 2, page 8) albeit not at the granularity you are seeking.
  • In the IJEF paper, you’ll find the reported negative effect of age on attitude towards mobile ads, as observed from a convenience sample. When this research was extended to a 3-country study, this negative effect was not found when the study was replicated in Japan, where age had no effect, but was also observed with the sample from France.

My best,
Constantinos

Hi Barry and Rebecca,
You may find relevant a study that compares  digital news usage and its
relationships with social media usage among US Millennials and Boomers
across a very large spectrum of news outlets (~800).  Conducted with my
collaborators Angela Wu at NYU and Stephanie Edgerly at Northwestern, it
recently got published in New Media & Society. Contrary to what most
might think we found more similarities than differences between the two age
cohorts.

Here's the link to the study and attaching a PDF as well.

Please email to me asap. Deadlined urgencies of course.

Hi Barry and Rebecca, You may find relevant a study that compares digital news usage and its relationships with social media usage among US Millennials and Boomers across a very large spectrum of news outlets (~800). Conducted with my collaborators Angela Wu at NYU and Stephanie Edgerly at Northwestern, it recently got published in *New Media & Society*. Contrary to what most might think we found more similarities than differences between the two age cohorts. Here's the link to the study and attaching a PDF as well. http://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/1461444817707348 Best, Harsh harsht.wordpress.com On Fri, Sep 15, 2017 at 11:24 AM, Rebecca Adams via CITAMS < citams@list.citams.org> wrote: > Grant could you send to me too? > > And Barry would love to see bib you develop. Hi. A colleague of mine is looking for stats on Internet and smartphone use stats for individuals with HIV/AIDS. Does anyone know of any stats for this population or others he could reach out to for further information?

Thanks in advance!

Shelia
