Hi Bill,

I like what you are doing. Any chance of sharing what she will cost? Or what
you think it should cost?
We are starting a similar project, in costing stage right now. Its a few
feet longer (55ftx21ft) and building in China with a Taiwanese builder of 30
years experience who has done over 500 boats now- semi-displacement and some
planing so weight control is understood. He is a trained naval architect but
an honest one who admits Powercats is not his specialty so we have an
Australian Cat naval architect doing the design who was doing large Ferry
Cats, then Roger Hill's resident NA and then at Warwick Yacht design so has
enough technical training along with our on the water experience to
hopefully miss all the pitfalls. In house styling, 1 trawler version, 1 Euro
and 1 Classic. http://www.adventurebay.co.nz/powercats.htm
Any comments that may help those following in your path? I like your wide
hull philosophy-need to be able to service things and the difference in the
cost of fuel is not that much in the scope of things. A lot more will be
spent on paying for the waxing than the difference in fuel burn!

Kind Regards,

John Winter
