Join us at the Foss Waterway Seaport for great family fun - an experience you do not want to miss!

Pier Peer in Tacoma

Saturday, February 23 - 7:30 to 9:00 PM

COST: $8 per person. Each child, 8 years of age or older, requires one adult companion.

ADVANCE REGISTRATION: http://www.metroparkstacoma.org/pier-peer - 40 person maximum per program

Bring your family and join Foss Waterway Seaport and Metro Parks Tacoma for a "Pier Peer" aquatic nighttime adventure. Explore the hundreds of mysterious marine life forms — including some pretty "alien" looking creatures drawn to underwater lights placed off our docks.  Enjoy a live dive program, see marine life in action and talk with our diver during his dive.
See and "touch" creatures brought up from the deep by local divers. Participate in a plankton tow.  After this exciting outdoor adventure, we'll go inside to warm up, drink hot cocoa and talk about what we saw.

Dress for the weather: The docks can be wet. Please bring your own flashlights; we will provide life jackets as well as scoops to catch sea creatures. All participants must wear a life jacket! We encourage you to bring your own life jacket if you own one.
