Hi Kristine,
Please tell me if the following fits the bill of aesthetically pleasing.
http://www.adventurebay.co.nz/powercats.htm

We are also working on a 45ft version with a largish cockpit for water
sports (diving, game fishing or tender storage) that also has built in
dinette for long term cruisers. If you are interested, I will send you some
images. Not on the web yet.
Both designs will be female moulded series production boats.

Starting the 55 footer this year on spec, just have to move one of our
smaller monohulls from our stock to pay the tooling. (Monohulls still pay
the bills unfortunately)

The 45 will be by customer order, really need 3 orders to commit to tooling
the smaller size. Too small to do on spec, margins too low to carry stock in
this size. Most Powercat builders in this size go broke, under estimate the
development costs. My brother had a similar 42 foot sportfish cat built but
his builder also went broke. It left us a good starting platform and concept
boat to work from.
The larger cat can carry the development cost better.

You can see an earlier model we styled and had built on spec:

Learned many lessons by living aboard 1 year and motoring 9000 miles NZ to
Florida against the trades. What is good and not so good offshore with
liveaboard Powercats. Incorporated the lessons into theses boats.

Kind Regards,

John Winter
