Monday morning we are at anchor at Bligh Island, Nootka Sound,
Vancouver Island. A large low-pressure system is producing high SE
winds. We could deal with them, but why bother? We are tucked among
a group of islands that block all of the swell and most of the wind.
It is quite comfortable and scenic.
When winds abate, we will continue our journey on the west coast of
Vancouver Island, then cross to the mainland side of Queen Charlotte
Sound.
Cheers,
Dick and Gail Barnes

Editor's note: You may recall reports from Dick Barnes last year
during Ice Dancer's Great Loop of the Pacific. The Barneses are
headed home to Alaska for the summer. The plan is to be fishing off
Magdalena Bay, Baja, by mid-November, make mainland Mexico stops,
then proceed to the Galapagos Islands. After that, Chile might be a
destination.
