Come with a funny hat, a unique hat, a large hat or a small hat – But come and be in our Hat Parade on January 21, 2023 at 1 pm to Celebrate National Hat Day,
Supplies will be available for families to make a creative hat and it can be submitted to be in the Hat Contest.
Also, it is the last chance to see the Secretary of State’s Legacy Washington exhibit “Ahead of the Curve: Trailblazing Women of Washington” that tells the stories of some 25 wonderful women, leaders in their fields and Ahead of the Curve. In addition, The Karshner Museum’s exhibit, “Decades of Women Dedicated to Equality” uses many artifacts from the archives to show women through the decade. There are other exhibits as well on display but the women’s exhibits are coming down on January 24 to make room for “Colors and Rhythms of Africa” exhibit.
The Karshner Museum and Center for Culture & Arts will be open January 21, 2023 from noon to 5 pm and admission is free.
