Bruce,

I suspect that in replacing the battery you missed connecting a negative
wire to the battery.

Take a look and see if you find another wire lying behind the battery
that got overlooked.

I really need the groups to help.

I have 3 battery house bank and 1 starting battery. Theengine would
not start on battery 1 (start battery). It would start on battery2 or
both. It would try to start on 1 but did not have enough juice to turn
itover but would try. I took the battery out and had it checked out.
The shop saidthat it was bad, looked like a bad cell. So I bought a
new one.

I got backed to the boat and put the new one in.? Now it will not
start at all. Not in 1 or 2or both.

The key switch is 4 positions. In acc. position theinstruments come
on. Then in off pos. everything is off. In the start position,
theinstruments and oil buzzer would come on. Push the key in and
everything goesoff. The instruments go off, the buzzer goes off. There
is no trying to start.Just dead like when you have it in gear. I check
the pilothouse gear shiftthen ran up to the flybridge. Both stations
are in neutral. Then I checked thetransmission shift linkage. It is
shifting in and out of Rev., Netru. andForward.
I think it might be the key switch.PS: My engine is a Ford Lehman SP 90

Help

?
