Postponement of the Girsky Quartet performance is a good idea until
after this amazing spell of snow we're experiencing!
Let's gather on March 5, Tuesday at 7pm in Slavonian Hall. We'll hear
the same great music, the same terrific musicians. I'll send out

String Quartet to Slavonian Hall on March 5th at 7pm. This event closes
the season; plans are underway for /Classical Tuesdays’ /15th season! As
always admission is free and all ages are welcome. Plenty of street
parking, a few parking slots in alley for those requiring access via the
ramp.
This evening's program features a discussion of the role of patronage in
the history of chamber music and performances of quartets composed by:
Franz Joseph Haydn – Quartet in D major, Op. 71 No. 2 (composed 1793)
Dmitri Shostakovich – Quartet No. 10 in A-flat major, Op. 118 (1964)
Ludwig van Beethoven – Quartet No. 8 in E minor, Op. 59 No. 2 (1808)
