The University of Michigan School of Information invites applicants for the U-M Presidential Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program (PPFP). Faculty at UMSI have a successful record of providing a nurturing and productive post-doctoral experience for Presidential Post-Doctoral Fellows. A list of prior PPFP fellows is available here: http://presidentspostdoc.umich.edu/fellows.php In keeping with the PPFP program, we are interested in future colleagues who engage in research in the broad field of information and whose research addresses the perspectives and/or needs of groups that have been historically underserved by academic research. The School of Information is particularly interested in candidates whose research focuses on characterizing, understanding and/or reducing social or economic inequality. The PPFP offers the possibility of either a postdoc alone or a combined postdoc and tenure track faculty appointment.
