Cruising America's Great Loop and other inland routes
View all threadsBill,
I wonder if they will be attacked by pirates at Waterford, as has been
known to happen. We have our own strategy, ya know ...
Hmmm just looked it up, this particular boat was built in France, I hope
they are carrying the approriate wine. And I hope they don't realize the
Port Regulations they are certainly about to violate are actually
fictitious.

Thanks for the correction, Fred!
I am no authority on why the Beneteau may be special. I am supposing
the marketing folks at Beneteau want to promote the boat as a good
cruising boat, good for the Great Loop and other objectives. Much
like the Nordhavn circumnavigation a few years ago, this is a
marketing strategy.

Bill,
I'm curious, this looks like any other boat ... what is significant
about this one?

According to their route map, they don't plan to stop at
Waterford. Just Albany.
