Hello All, I'm in a bit of a pickle and am wondering if anyone on the list can help me out. At present my boat is in the Solomans. I'm northbound to Leamington Ontario(home port) from Myrtle Beach. The problem is that my crew (of one) had to leave the boat for family reasons and cannot re-join it to complete the trip. I've posted to all the crew wanted boards but haven't heard from anyone that wants to crew without being paid...unless...oddly...I had a sailboat. While I can't afford to pay for help I will take care of all on-board expenses. Matileena is a 1987 Bayliner 3270 twin diesel boat that is well equipped for cruising. My intention is a direct trip from the Solomans MD to Leamington,Ontario, via Chesapeake/Delaware Bay, likely outside from Cape May to NYC, Hudson, Erie Canal to west Lake Erie. I'd estimate needing about three weeks to complete the trip in reasonable weather In a perfect world I'd like someone who could share helm/navigation duties and assist with anchoring and line handling. I would really like to be away from the dock by July 15/04. I realize this is very short notice...but I'm hoping someone has some flexible time and might like to see this part of the loop. For those that may do the loop in the future, this might be a great opportunity to get some helpful experience.
