Cruising America's Great Loop and other inland routes
View all threadsI am 71 and health precludes sailing my own vessel anymore so I started
Cruising on Liners
Last year did the Panama canal and a Trans Atlantic.
Did one solo, one with a room mate.
This year (well actually Feb of next year) I have committed to a 48 day
trip from Long Beach to NYC via the Straights of Magellan.
This is a passage I would not attempt on my own vessel.
The only hassle is sailing solo I have to pay for 2 in a cabin even if
by myself.
I took the cheapest 1A which is an upper/lower interior but can easily
upgrade to a double interior or even ocean view or balcony for less $ if
I split it with a fellow adventurer.
So if we have any singles on this list that have a bucket list with
crossing the equator(twice) and rounding the horn and are interested.
Drop me a line and see if we click
