Westport- Sherwood Island SP- 4 Eastern Towhees, each one seen and heard separately in different areas of the park, Brown Thrasher continues on west end  near the viewing platform area doing a “whisper song” from a treetop.
Although it is raining lightly, viewing conditions on Long Island Sound are close to excellent with flat water and no wind. There is a huge raft of Long-tailed Ducks off of the west end of the park looking towards the Norwalk Islands. A conservative estimate is about 1200. There were very few gulls out there.
