Greener Cleaners, How to Make and Use
Saturday, May 7, 10:30 a.m.
City of Tacoma EnviroHouse (Tacoma Landfill, 3510 S. Mullen St., 98409)

You don't have to use harmful chemicals to clean your house. Learn how to make and use greener cleaners to maintain a safe, healthy home for you and your family. Workshop participants will make their own multi-purpose greener cleaner to take home.

Compared to most commercial products, greener cleaners:

  • Produce fewer pollutants when being made/manufactured

  • Are less likely, in some cases, to cause injury if accidentally ingested

  • Don't cause indoor air pollution in your home

  • Reduce waste from commercial packaging

  • Are better for the environment during and after use
