Hello All,

Just a quick up date. Lynn & I got to Antwerp, Belgium last Monday afternoon to wait for MV Sampogracht.  Antwerp has turned out to be a pleasant surprise.  I really didnt have any expectations about the city but it is very nice. The yacht harbor at Willemdok is great and the harbor masters, Tony & Raymond, have been especially helpful. The only down side was the long waits for Royerssluis and two bridges to get in here Monday afternoon  took almost 3 hours from the time we arrived out side Royerssluis until we were tied up in Willemdok.

Willemdok is very close to the heart of the city, easy walk into the central market square and lots of shopping.

So this past week we have been doing a little sight seeing in Antwerp and getting the boat ready for shipping  took all the canvas down this afternoon (Sunday) and will start winterizing things tomorrow.

We are scheduled to cross over to another part of the harbor Tuesday morning and be loaded in the afternoon. Sampogracht is taking on other cargo then should sail Tuesday evening. We have booked passage with Legrace and after an intermediate stop in Finland, we all head for Baltimore and should be there around Thanksgiving.

So we will be incommunicado until we reach Baltimore.  For all those who have emailed us about shipping, etc., Ill post a log about our experiences after we get to Baltimore.  And for those in the Baltimore area who gave me your phone numbers, well try to call once we arrive.
