Gators,
Please see link below to register for the Quad Metric on Saturday, May 9th. This will be a club ride event and will take the place of our Saturday morning ride. Byron and I have done this for the past 5 or so years and is one of our favorites. Go at your own pace while enjoying the Green Lane hills and scenery with baked goods at the rest stops and a delicious lunch at the end of the ride. The ride is SAG supported and people are on hand to help with flats, etc. The ride is supported by Bikeworks which I believe is our Bike Sponsor this year. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Note: REGISTER BY MARCH 31 AND SAVE ($32.50), PRICES INCREASE ON APRIL 1st.
Please click on the link below to see more information about this great ride. Let's get as many Gators out on the course - great training for hilly races such as Lake Placid and Poconos, etc.
FYI - registration requires you to pick a route but you can choose the route that you want to ride the day of the ride if you change your mind or even while you are on the course depending on how you feel. https://www.bikereg.com/suburban-cyclists-unlimited-scu-quad-county-metric
Also check out the Suburban Cyclists website, they host several group rides in the surrounding area during the week and on the weekends. We have participated in several of the rides, especially the Mondays and Thursday rides over the years.
