Coal export to Asia!  One of the proposed bulk terminal development
proposals is for Cherry Point in Bellingham.  That puts us in Tacoma dead
center in a controversy over the potential impacts of perhaps 20 more trains
per day threading through the narrow rail corridor along the shores of the
Puget Sound.  Pierce County Executive Pat McCarthy has issued a letter
outlining numerous concerns and potential impacts (July 23, 2012).  Among
them are potential health effects. So if you wish to become educated on the
issues surrounding coal export, one point along the way is to learn more
about the potential health effects.  And this webinar is a step in that
direction.
