Hello! I’m Janae, the University of Puget Sound Spaceworks Intern. Nice to meet you! When I tell people in Tacoma that I work at Spaceworks, I usually get asked the following question: “Oh! What’s Spaceworks?” Even more so, as I’ve continued to work here, I’ve discovered that some of my favorite local organizations worked with Spaceworks in the past. WHAT!? How did I never know!?!? It turns out this is sadly a common experience. My goal for the summer is to develop a marketing campaign for Spaceworks, creating steps to fix this massive brand visibility and awareness problem. To start, I’ve created a target market survey to see what we’re working with – who have we been reaching so far, and what do they know about us? Is our brand it consistent? Does it need improvement? What does Spaceworks even do, again? My internship is ending soon, so I would like responses by Monday, July 21st end of day. Apologies for the quick turnaround.
