We moved in Feb 7 of 2007 so we too have seen this community grow from a construction zone to a beautiful neighborhood. This is no accident. Thanks to careful management with a heavy dose of kindness, LR has evolved into great place to live. That has been even more obvious this last year as we saw more of each other out walking and helping each other in big and little ways.
Thankful for our friends who are our neighbors,
Julia

Carole and I bought the second piece of property sold in LSR and moved into the neighborhood on her birthday in Feb 2007, a little delayed in building waiting for my retirement from the Army. We've seen a lot of families come and go over the last 14 years, but the work of the board and the community at large has made this a great place to live. Our only regret is having built a two story house that is more difficult to negotiate as the physical demands of my Army service and Carole's nursing career have caught up with us.
We voted as a neighborhood as soon as the developers lost their block votes to keep a small board (three). The smaller number can act faster when decisions on our behalf must be made. Carole and I trust their wisdom or we would not continue to vote for them. They work tirelessly for us without fanfare and deserve more praise and admiration thanks we give them on a routine basis.
That does not discount the efforts of the many other families and friends that make LSR a coveted neighborhood in the area, but as Kevin and Julia and so many others have mentioned, our current board seems to work pretty well. I for one don't see a need to change for the sake of change when we consistently speak as a neighborhood to keep the current number of board members at three each year.

We’ve lived in many communities in several states (most with HOAs) and are please to say that Limestone Ranch is our favorite of all of those neighborhoods. We enjoy our friendly and respectful neighborhoods, many of whom have become dear friends. Another strength of our neighborhood is the servant leadership of our HOA. I appreciate their willingness to respond to unexpected problems and pitch in as needed. I can personally attest that Tom is willing to have discussions and listen to new ideas. These traits have contributed to us having some fun social events and neighborhood improvements.
As a long-time volunteer in various non-profits myself, I recognize the sacrifice made by our HOA Board members and appreciate them.

I'm so thrilled to see the outpouring of appreciation for our Board members! We feel so blessed to live in this community and I have personally seen the efforts by Tom, Reid and Greg to make this community such a welcoming place. We all understand that our Board is not a Fortune 500 company and doesn't need to be run as such. It is run by some very honorable men who volunteer their time to make this community a beautiful place to live.
Thank you for all the positivity tonight!

Fondly,
Dana Cline

Since this is my first HOA I have no experience nor desire to be one of those servants but I do have a desire to see good stewardship with the least amount of intrusion ... in short I’m not seeing anything broken here that entails making drastic changes to what has been a well functioned community. I would like to add our support for the current HOA and the terms of
membership.
Having spent eight years witnessing issues handled with integrity and great
concern for the whole community, gives us confidence in the process and we
would like to see things stay as they are. As the board will naturally
evolve over time and new members will be voted in, I would consider those
who have lived here for a long stretch of time, have been involved in the
community and ask candidates to be transparent about their motivations for
wanting to assume this role.
Thank you for your tireless service Tom, Reid and Greg.
Best Regards,
Karina and David Dolgin
