Thanks. That’s actually what I did, just a few careful manual twists with a countersink drill bit. It helped with alignment. But a more significant measure was securing the printed nuts in an appropriately improvised hex socket so that it could be firmly pushed squarely against the threaded pots.

Now have successfully made half a dozen.
