BRUNSWICK LANDING clarified

I recently made an inquiry to Brunswick Landing about storing our 44' trawler there for the next year... they were kind enough to send me an email... with all rates.. and note that shrink wrapping is required.? So then won't come across as hearsay.. let me cut & paste the content and the ID of the sender .. from Brunswick Landing with there pricing etc intact.. this should settle any issues on this marina..

"Yes we can handle this.? Our rates are as follows:? Storage is $11.00 per foot per month, haul & launch is $11.00 per foot, $125.00 to press. wash, $125.00 to block & jack.? We are requiring all boats that are stored on the hard be shrink wrapped and this is a rough estimate on shrink wrap $1,000 ???? Mechanic time to check engines is at $79.00 per hour.

?

You can not stay aboard the boat when it is on the hard and all work must be done by our boat yard.

?

Let me know if you want me to take your reservation.

What is the reasoning for requiring shrink wrap?  Security ??
If you want to leave it for a month or two is that really necessary. ??

Brunswick Landings is a great marina ...that accolade can not necessarily be
extended to the work yard (they are separate).  When I lived in the area the
father owned the dockage marina, the son the work yard. The yard has had had
billing and work quality issues in the past. They do a lot of bottom paint
etc in the yard and the shrink warp requirement is probably to protect the
stored boats from overspray and contamination from the adjacent work.
