I am thrilled to be conducting the Brass Unlimited ensemble on Sunday. We will be performing a variety of well known works. Featured composers include: Bernstein, Faure, Scheidt, Morricone, and Shostakovich. Trumpeter Morris Northcutt will be our featured soloist. Known for his lyricism, artistry and ability to cross the boundary between classical and jazz, Washington native, Morris Northcutt, has shared the stage with diverse performance groups such as the Critical Mass Big Band, Seattle Symphony Chamber Orchestra, Symphony Tacoma, Eugenie Jones Quintet, the Philharmonic Brass Quintet, the Blues Brothers Reunion Band, and the British style brass band Puget Brass among others. This concert is FREE and open to the public.
