The West Chester ARC at Voice of America is selling several 2 meter yagis: Cushcraft 17 ele, 13 ele, M2, and several more. They are open for offers…would probably accept $60-$70 each, and maybe a better price if someone took them all.

If interested, you could go look this Wednesday evening during their open operating night between 6-8:30pm. The location is VOA Building, 8070 Tylersville Rd., West Chester.

Bob (and others interested),

The contact person for the 144 MHz antennas at the West Chester ARC at Voice of America is Joe Molter ( n8ida18@gmail.com ).

One of the antennas is the long Cushcraft yagi. It’s apparently the older model, as it does not have the black UltraMatch Balun box. It might be a 17B2, and appears to be missing 3 elements and maybe support brace clamps. I measured the boom sections as: Reflector end (2 pieces together) 9’ 3” long; center two pieces are 12’ long; and director end is 8’ 2” (2 pieces together). I found the latest model manual at http://www.cushcraftamateur.com/Product.php?productid=A17B2

The other antennas were put away, so I did not check them. One of them is the 3-reflector yagi, maybe a Boomer? There is also a M2, but not the real long model.

If interested, I suggest you visit the VOA site on any Wednesday evening, or email Joe Molter. He may be able to take pictures to help you decide.
