Dear CITAMS Members, I'm writing to clarify some language in my email yesterday regarding the CITAMS Special Issue of ICS. In that message, I used a vague phrase to refer to the challenges related to identifying submissions for the special issue. In doing so, I may have inadvertently given some the impression that there is some problem with some aspect of ICS's ScholarOne user interface. Any such impression is incorrect. Editor Brian Loader and Managing Editor Sarah Shrive-Morrison have been fantastic and ScholarOne is operating properly. The problem is with user error in failing to follow all instructions to indicate that a submission is intended for the special issue. I plan to help remedy this problem by leaving step-by-step screenshot instructions for next year's guest editors to share as part of the call for papers. I apologize to Brian and Sarah for my sloppy phrasing and any misunderstanding it may have caused. CITAMS continues to be lucky to have our ongoing partnership with ICS.
