Remarks:
Finally got our Sailmail working. We were lucky
to get someone in the holiday. If weather OK we
will leave here Jan 1st. However the weather has
been too rough since we got here so it will have
to change. It is hard to get out around the
corner, but then we'll be OK. We met the
navigator from the lead boat in the Volvo Round
the World Race and he will introduce us to his
weatherman tomorrow so we will be in good hands.
Stan Honey said this is the best weatherman for
this area that is available today. Stan and his
wife also started Sailmail and he invented Fox's
trailing line puck and also the football 'first
down' line indicator.
