The NorthStar Newfoundland Club has been asked to participate in a pet awareness event taking place in the Wal-mart parking lot Sunday October 14, 2012 in St. Cloud MN. ( actually I think its Sartell). Leighton Broadcasting is coordinating the event with pet adoption, Vet care, Groomers, etc. The would reserve us a 70 x 100 foot area if we wanted to do the Rally practice course like what we did at Manke Castle. They also asked about Newfs giving cart rides but other than Monte I don't know who has a Newf that will pull. If I can let them know by Monday, the club name would be featured into the advertising? Need to know what everyone thinks. Is it something we want to do? Who would participate if we did? We would participate. We don't get to attend many gatherings with you
because everything is so far away, but we would love to join the group

We still have Judy's harness and draft cart. Pean will pull that on flat areas when I am next to him. He does not know any of the commands tho. I havn't tried with Lacy, she does love attention and giving out smooches tho. Sounds fun.
