Hi everyone,
All feeding stations/ feeders have been busy!
Common repolls in large numbers arrived on the 28th.Evening Grosbeaks are
growing in numbers and today one lone Pine Grosbeak showed up. Red -breasted
Nuthatches join the Black capped chickadees . Juncos are still here as are
a few American Tree Sparrows and White Throated Sparrows . For a couple of
weeks I have had huge numbers of Rusty Blackbirds.the most I have seen in
years (they've been gone 3 days now.) Huge numbers of blue jays this
year..and lots of Gray Jays. Snow Buntings are showing up . Migration was
very active this year and is slowing down now.
( We had 2 snowfalls already..one with 10cm. and the other 13cm , but most
has already melted )
Have a good winter!
