*August and September In-Person Field Trips Cancelled* The OFO Board has made the difficult decision to cancel August and September field trips because of safety concerns due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation. Several events have been cancelled in October and November as well and registrants have been notified. Please check the OFO website for details. Weare still hoping that we can go ahead with field trips later in the year, but will reassess towards the end of September, when schools have been open for a few weeks and reopening is farther along. In lieu of in-person field trips, we are working on bringing OFO members and the wider Ontario birding community virtual field trips and workshops and self-guided outings so we can all enjoy birding safely. We would like to hear from OFO members about how we can best support your birding during this time. Would you go on an organized field trip if these were offered?
