How to Get Involved
The Gallucci Learning Garden community is also looking for stewards and volunteers to help tend the space and facilitate afterschool and summer classes for children. Stewards will have the opportunity to assist in the design and creation of the space as a demonstration garden will work with interested community members to care and maintain the learning garden through scheduled work parties. There is no previous experience or knowledge required-just a passion and willingness to learn! For those interested in helping out with the children's gardens, we are looking for those who are good with children (no garden experience required, but encouraged) and available Monday and Friday afternoons. If this interests you, there is a stewardship orientation is March 20th, 5:00pm at the Gallucci Learning Garden on s. 14th and G.
