This will likely be considered a most boring post, and has probably

been beaten to death in the past, however, as an "only several months long
list lurker" ........
The topic is dock lines, and I have a few neophyte questions:

  1. I am told that, for my 37' Power Cat, (under construction), 5/8" DOUBLE
BRAID NYLON line is the best. Note, I am located on the sea, so this is a
salt water usage scenario ... in the tropics, (for what that may be worth).
  2. What are the best Brands for value, (I am one of those who are not rich
enough to buy whatever tickles my fancy, but alas feels incomplete when
boatless!!!! ... hence I continue to pour my limited " quality of life"
    funds into the water).
  3. Where to get the best deal on line. (Location not an issue as can have it
    shipped in any event.)
Of course, any other suggestions are welcomed.
Thanks for your patience for my simplest of queries, and for your taking
    the time to reply.
(Hope this does not stir up controversy hehe!!!)
