We have a 19cu ft household fridge in galley and a 3 cu ft freezer In Lazarette that held provisions for 4 months excepting being supplemented with eggs and fresh fruit and veggies. Both run off an inverter bank which is 900ah LifePo4 and charged by alternators, genset or 900 watts solar. Shore power never figured in as we were only in marinas for a few days and didn’t use their power.

Fridge and freezer draw from 200-225ah/day depending on usage, outside temp, etc. the solar gave us 200-250ah/day in January and by April we were 300-350ah/day. Other items using AC:
Microwave
Instant Pot
Oven-Propane but uses 20ah to run circulating fan and controls that we can’t figure out how to disable
Fans
Some lights
Toaster
TV
We ran genset a little over an hour a day for hot water and watermaker and picked up around 100ah into batteries from charger. This kept us self sufficient for as long as we needed by using 12 gallons/week of fuel for genset. Only limitation would be a power shortfall if we used batteries to run master cabin air conditioning overnight but that’s a whole ‘nother discussion and we didn’t need it in Bahamas all winter. Took some learning curve to adjust to this new system that an EE designed to my requests and I’m a bit of a dreamer, apparently.
