To All -

Do you realize we haven't completed a Sunday race since August 7th? Wow -
it's been a long drought. August 14th brought rain and t-storms, August 21st
saw no wind, August 28th was Irene, and then we had the Labor Day Weekend.
At last the summer heat wave seems to be over, and while a few boats raced
at Shattemuc this weekend at a HRYRA Regatta, Zoran and I raced today in a
lovely 8 - 10 mph southeaster. Results attached. The only thing we lacked
was more company.

Wednesday Night racing is over, but there are still five Sundays to race
until the end of the season: 9/25, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23 and 10/30. Fall racing
can be spectacular with cool temperatures and consistent winds - just like
today.

Unofficially, without any throw-outs applied yet, here's what I've got for
the current standings for the Club trophy(s) this year:

As you can see, some of the scores are very close. But there's still plenty
of time to come out and race if you want to improve your standing.

Next weekend (Saturday, Sept. 17th) is the re-scheduled Leukemia Cup
Regatta, and you can still register for racing and/or the Saturday Night
party at www.wch.lcr.llsevent.org/nbc. This will be the best event of the
year, so don't miss out! Incidentally, did you know PhotoboatR will be
covering the event? If you want a professional picture of your boat under
sail, here is a perfect opportunity.

See you on the water.
