There is no comparison.  I pulled out a Force 10 and replaced it with a
Dickerson.  Much higher heat output from the Dickerson. Just compare the
specs.  If you buy a Force 10 you will wait a while to boil some water and
you will be unable to sear a piece of meat.

The oven in the Dickerson is not terribly even, but neither was the Force
10.  The Dickerson was improved by sheet of quarter inch aluminum at the
bottom.

Best,

Steve

Hi Charles,
I just went through this decision myself, and with research and
recommendations from this list I bought the Dickinson Mediterranean. Mostly
happy with it. Top burners are great! While I haven't noticed the oven being
uneven (probably just haven't cooked anything that would cause me to notice
that) but mine won't get above about 375 degrees at the 450 setting. I can
live with that, but I'd rather it go higher.
Steve, what kind of temps are you seeing with yours?

Charles,
I’m very pleased with my Force 10 3-burner LP stove.  As full-time live aboard‘s, it get use alot.  The large center burner boils water quickly.  We use the oven to make pizza’s, bake biscuits, blue berry muffins, baked beans, fudge...

We have a separate thermometer that I can view through the glass door and have seen the temperature as high as 475F - which was too high for what I was cooking!

I’d purchase another Force 10 if I had to.  Easy to clean/remove the grate, always lights quickly.

Thank you,
Gregg Betcher
