Can anybody provide some wisdom as to:

  1. Best source for obtaining reliable weather in the China Sea and North
    Indian Ocean, and
  2. Their experience with weather routers such as Bob Jones.
    Thanks.

Oh yeah, a while back someone (maybe Mike Maurice) posted some historical
weather charts for the China Sea.  Does anybody know how I can access those
charts?

For world wide weather - and wave information look at:

  1. go to https://www.fnmoc.navy.mil/PUBLIC/
(click by the MS Explorer warning screen
  2. Select 'Meteorology'
  3. Select 'WXMAP'
  4. Select 'EUROPE' (or desired region)
  5. Select (line 7) 'Wave Watch 3 Sigma' for the desired time window of up to
    144 hours = 7 days out

There are lots of other branches to explore for more information.
