10th Circuit - today - Notice of Claim - a notice of claim that included the attorney's contact information rather than the claimant's was sufficient for purposes of the allowing suit against the Lefore County and a sheriff's deputy for excessive force. The case resulted in significant damages including punitives. The 10th Circuit affirmed in a decision discussion the notice of claim and issues associated with trial concluding that several of the county's issues were waived and that the deputy's claims of misconduct by plaintiff's attorney were not sufficient to show prejudice in the jury's verdict. 010110565836.pdf (uscourts.gov)https://www.ca10.uscourts.gov/sites/ca10/files/opinions/010110565836.pdf Osterhout v.
