FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: July 11th, 2025
___________

The City of Auburn and the Auburn Arts Commission are pleased to present the work of Hae Chon Lee at the Community Center Gallery, on view July 10th - September 4th, 2025.

Artwork Statement:

Even though time and place can separate us from others, human connections are never broken. The past, especially when remembered with love, can be brought to the present. Ancestors, for example, are not far or gone; They remain a part of our life today. When we care about those people and remember those who came before us, we make a place for them in our daily lives. This connection helps us retain their presence with us. In this sense, our life is beyond our own years. The boundaries between the past, present and the future begin to blur and we understand that our existence is more than just us - it is something eternal.
