The 1296 beacon has been heard once in the past week and that was a couple of days ago. It was weak and “whispery”. I suspect the electrons were shivering. :-)
Temps here in the morning have ranged from -4 about three days ago to as high as +10.
My compliments to the folks who have been working on the global warming problem. Evidently they have fixed the problem. It might be well to back off on the adjustment screw about a half a turn. I think you over did it.
