WELCOME BACK TO THE POOL, GATORS!
Tonight marks our return to the Spring Valley YMCA indoor lap pool after 4+
months!
Following are notes/guidelines to assist you...
• Y Entrance/Exit: With a mask, please enter and exit the Y through the
main entrance (this applies to members and staff). You will be asked
screening questions and have your temperature taken. If your temperature
is above 100.4degF, you must exit the Y... Note that if you workout just
prior to entering the Y, it is possible that your temperature could be
elevated above 100.4, so please leave some "cool down" time in between any
pre-swim workouts as the results of the temperature scan are final and
non-negotiable.
• Time: Our workout will run between 6:45pm-7:45pm and Don Mack will be the
coach on deck.
• Attendance: At the time of this post, there are 6 Gators registered as
"Going" on our event invite and we can accommodate up to 12... That is a
strict limit, so please indicate "Going" if you plan to attend so that we
can stay within the limit. Here's a link to the event...

• Pool setup: We'll have the entire pool with 2 swimmers per lane and one
starting/stopping at each end. There will be a personal basket for you to
place your belongings at each end.
• Masks must be worn at ALL times inside of the Y EXCEPT when you are
actually in the pool swimming... You can remove your mask just prior to
entering the pool and must put it back on when you exit.
• Cleaning: The Y's Aquatics lifeguard staff sanitizes everything before
each new group swims including ladder handles, door knobs, guard stands,
and individual baskets at each end.
• Workout: The workout is posted in Training Peaks and copies of it will be
available at each end of all six lanes. Additionally, Don will review it
with the attendees at the start (might have to do this one time at each
end).
• DIY Equipment: If you plan to use a kickboard, pull buoy, or any other
equipment that you would typically borrow from the Y, you must bring your
own as there are no borrowable items at the Y.
See you there!
